March 20th Naturally Dyed Cloth Napkins
Join us for a hands-on workshop dedicated to the art of using nature to dye fabric! In this special class, we’ll focus on cochineal, a vibrant red dye that produces a range of beautiful colors. We will learn all about this fascinating insect, how to extract dye from it, and then apply it to fabric. Each participant will dye a set of four 100% organic cotton cloth napkins with a nicely sewn hem—creating a unique, handmade treasure. This is a great way to make your home more sustainable and embrace reusable alternatives to disposable napkins.
Date & Time: March 20th, 6:30-8:30 PM
Location: Trade Oak Cliff, 1300 S. Polk St., #246
